Dahlias did so well this year!

I really liked the air plant display over the white couch in your living room. What is the base for it? I would like ideas on how to recreate it. Thanks!
Hi Melissa and thank you so much for stopping by and commenting. The sculpture is made of wood veneer, it was made by an artist. You could get wood veneer flitches, which are long thin panels that are raw, and try to recreate the sculpture. the artist added a finish to it. I am not sure how she was able to keep the shape. Hope this gives you some ideas on maybe exploring using other materials.
